First I tried A regular android (Just some throw away I had) and quickly realized it was the updated version of wordament, the mobile stack. Since I was frustrated and waiting for the new phone to come for the Gear VR, I realized I was missing Wordament stack on android and that I should try and knock that game off the list in the mean time. While setting up my Gear VR for minecraft I realized I got the wrong phone for it because I have room temperature IQ.
